Salt Summer Shandy

Recipe created by ericatangeman

A shandy, a radler, a summer beer — whatever you call it, it's a a fruity drink (lemonade, citrus juice, etc.) mixed with beer for something light, crisp, & wildly refreshing 🍋🍺
while the name screams summer, this is truly an all-year sip. my non-alcoholic version? one you can enjoy all day long. boosted with LMNT electrolytes for extra hydration & zero sugar, plus functional NA beers from hop wtr that bring the bubbly without the booze ✨
oh, & the cherry on top (well… citrus 😉)? citreve's freeze-dried grapefruit + lemon for that final bright, zesty finish 🍊🧂
cheers to salty, citrusy sips — anytime, any season ☀️

Ingredients:

32 oz Water, more or less depending on your salty preference
1 tsp Grapefruit Salt Electrolyte Mix – LMNT
1 tsp Lemonade Salt Electrolyte Mix - LMNT
24 fl oz Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Hop Water - Hop Wtr, 2 cans, flavor of choice - may sub any NA beer or regular beer
1 cup Ice Cubes
 Freeze-Dried Grapefruit Slices - CITREVE
 Freeze-Dried Lemon Wedges - CITREVE

Process

  1. to a pitcher, mix together water & both packets of LMNT (can easily sub for any 2 flavors you like!)
  2. pour beer of choice (any NA beer or regular beer) & ice.
  3. add grapefruit & lemon garnishes to your pitcher; let sit for 10-15 minutes to add more flavor.
  4. pour into a chilled glass + add any more garnishes & enjoy!
