The Story Behind CITREVE
What began as a backyard passion—preserving the colors of a home garden—quickly grew into a vision for a better way to use freeze-drying. Founder Nettie Frank, a Food Network alum and award-winning chef, explored the technique beyond long-term storage, pairing her culinary expertise with advanced technology to create products that truly served bartenders, caterers, and retailers. Early partners immediately saw the difference: consistent cuts, vibrant colors, and zero waste. From its roots in Bluffdale, Utah, CITREVE has expanded to serve hospitality groups, event planners, and specialty retailers nationwide. Today, we remain committed to raising the standard of garnishes—crafting shelf-stable, chef-driven products designed for high-performance environments.

Nettie - Founder & CEO
I am the founder of CITREVE. I turned a backyard passion for preserving garden colors into a mission to make freeze-dried food more creative, sustainable, and accessible. My favorite product is our orange slice infused with vanilla bean paste and sugar—it shows how flavor infusions can truly elevate a menu. Outside the kitchen, I practice Reiki and energy healing, especially focusing on the Heart chakra.

Thor - Director of Operations
As CITREVE’s Director of Operations, I oversee timelines, workflows, and quality to keep every batch running smoothly. My favorite product is our crisp, vibrant Orange Slices. Outside of work, I’m a big fan of ink and adventure, so feel free to ask me about my favorite Disney ride.

Lexie - Director of Marketing
As CITREVE’s Director of Marketing, I oversee all things branding—from social media and content creation to sales support, online presence, and our ambassador program. My favorite product is our Lemon Slices because they’re delicious in tea or water and always photograph beautifully. When I’m not creating content, I volunteer as a scuba diver at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium with my partner.

As CITREVE’s Sales Manager, I oversee all sales operations and support both current and future clients. My favorite product is our Orange Slices infused with vanilla bean paste and sugar. Outside of work, I’m a runner, an avid reader, and a total social butterfly.

Carley - Operations Lead
As CITREVE’s Operations Assistant, I oversee and organize the systems that keep our operations running smoothly, and I have hands-on experience in the CITREVE kitchen. My favorite product is our Cherry Tomatoes. Outside of work, I’m a professional photographer and bring creativity into everything I do.

Brooke - Marketing Lead & Office Manager
As CITREVE’s Marketing Lead and Office Manager, I manage our social media profiles, newsletters, and the day-to-day needs of our office. My favorite product is our Lime Slices. For fun, I perform stand-up comedy whenever I get the chance.

Kelly - Production Manager
As CITREVE’s Production Manager, I keep the kitchen and packaging room running smoothly and ensure every jar we send out is in perfect condition. I also oversee all of our shipping to make sure orders arrive safely and on time. My favorite product is our Lemon Wedges. Outside of work, I love creating memories with my children and grandchildren.

Josh - Kitchen Lead
As CITREVE’s Kitchen Lead, I oversee all produce handling and ensure every slice is prepped perfectly before it goes into the freeze-drier. My favorite product is our Blueberries. Outside of work, I love going to the gym and watching horror movies.

Gavin - Production Team Member
As part of CITREVE’s production team, I assist with slicing, packaging, and maintaining the equipment that keeps everything running smoothly. My favorite product is our Blood Orange Slices. When I’m off the clock, I love golfing, disc golfing, and diving into video games.

Jaidiss - Production Team Member
As part of CITREVE’s production team, I help prep and package our products to ensure every batch meets our quality standards. My favorite product is our Grapefruit Slices. In my free time, I’m focused on my college studies, diving into music, and learning to play the guitar and other instruments.

Olivia - Production Team Member
As a member of CITREVE’s production team, I help slice, prep, and package our products so they’re ready to shine on shelves and in kitchens. My favorite product is our Orange Slices with vanilla bean paste and sugar—I love them so much I snack on them daily. When I’m not at work, I’m dancing or spending time with friends.

Brant - Tech Director
As CITREVE’s Tech Director, I’m the go-to problem solver for any technical glitch or challenge that comes our way. I keep our systems running smoothly so the team can stay focused on creating. I can't pick my favorite product, they are all too good! Outside of work, I’m a huge Disney fan and love all things nerdy.
