Cheesy Jalapeno Popper & Bacon Dip

Can a Dairy-Free dip actually win the Super Bowl? I’m betting on it for this round of the Food Social Recipe Rumble. My Bacon-Jalapeño Blitz Dip is creamy, cheesy, and 100% Gluten-Free. It’s the perfect ‘everyone-is-invited’ appetizer that proves you don’t need dairy to play in the big leagues. Grab a chip and join the huddle!

Ingredients:

8 oz Vegan Cream Cheese, Plain
1/2 cup Unsweetened Plain Dairy-Free Collagen Yogurt - Culina
1 cup Dairy-Free Mexican Style Shreds - Violife
1/2 tsp Barrel Aged Tamari Soy Sauce - Jozo
3 whole Jalapeño Pepper, diced
1 tsp Meat & Potatoes Seasoning - Primal Palate
3 cloves Garlic, diced
1/2 tsp Freeze-Dried Lemon Wedges - CITREVE, chopped

Process

  1. Sautee bacon in a pan until crisp and set aside.
  2. Sautee garlic and jalapeno for 2-3 minutes and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl add cream cheese, 1/2c mexican cheese, yogurt, tamari, and seasoning together.
  4. Fold in garlic and jalapenos.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle cheese and bacon on top.
  7. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle with dried citrus.
  9. Serve with gf toast or tortilla chips.
  10. Enjoy!
